Military ticket vouchers and FP+

We have military vouchers to exchange for tickets when we arrive in July. We are not staying at a Disney resort. How do I set up our tickets to reserve our Fastpasses (30 days out)?

link the vouchers using MDE. if you download the app on your smartphone, you can scan the back of the voucher. I literally just did that 5 minutes ago.

pay close attention as you must assign each voucher to a specific individual and they cannot be reassigned.

And I had a heck of a time between the 0 and O's (numbers and letters). But yeah, scan them or enter the bar code numbers.

I am doing 5 days at the parks, so have to buy a single day, and hope that doesn't screw everything up. Already picked FP+ for the 4 day hoppers, and want to make sure when I use the single day it doesn't take the single day AND a hopper day.

Would all the military tickets need to be loaded to the same MDE account. Travelling with a group that will get all 6 tickets and use with 2 families. I've told them to make separate accounts for each family but wondering if that will cause problems.

I have 2 groups on mine (wife, daughter, me) on one reservation, my folks on another. I linked them to MDE and added all 5 tickets to that, and then assigned, but if the other group has their own MDE, there should be no reason why you can't link xx of tickets to yours, and xx to theirs.

you can link reservations. it keeps asking me if I want to do that.

we are doing ten days so are using 2 tickets each. alas, the current promo expires while we are there and I had to rejigger the last 2 days of our trip to be able to use the tickets before they expire. no big deal I only had to redo one ADR and it just moved our non park day to the day after the promo expires. Rest up good for the plane ride home I guess.
