We have used the Military Salute tickets a few times before, and I know that upon first use the military member has to show ID and accompany everyone else. But on the 2nd and 3rd days, we were able to enter without my dad (military member). Has that changed? I thought I read somewhere on here that there was talk about having to be with the military member each morning. Thanks!

We have never had to show id on the first day or any other
Only once did the cm even ask to see everyone and that time we had to sign the tix at activation but nothing else
It seems he rules very a lot based on the cm you get at activation but I don't know of anyone that had to show Id upon first entry let alone accompany people in

I don't know if this applies to military tickets, but this past Friday and Saturday, CMs were advising everyone who didn't have an AP to take out IDs and they were actively checking at the gates. Maybe it was due to the Veteran's day weekend, but it made for a lot slower entry.

Thanks guys. The regular military tickets have not needed ID's in the past....just the salute ones. But sounds like everything is changing.

Ohhh I missed the salute part
My experience was with the other ones

Then again I am not sure the name lol
I had the discounted $99 ones or at wdw $138 or something like that

I was told last month when I bought my Salute tickets at the park that though in the past the $99 Salute tickets only had to be activated the first day with the member, that the new $125 ones required the military member to be present EACH time you entered a park. In other words, they have become more strict and yes, the military member must be present.

I work near an Air Force base and have been told this several times.

We were there last week and we were required to show the military id every time we entered the parks. We never tried entering separately, so I'm not sure how strict they are about it, but they did tell me on the first day that the person with the military id had to be present every day with the rest of the party in order for them to enter.

I just came upon the mil tix page and at some point they have updated it and it clearly states that you must enter the park with the mil member or spouse

Does this mean only the FIRST time each day, or multiple times each day (i.e. can I park hop?)

It does not say exactly but I can tell you that the line was not there before...
"Military member (or spouse) must accompany the persons using these tickets for Theme Park admission"

Thanks all. So greatful to get to use these tickets....we'll gladly follow whatever rules Disney has regarding their use.
