Military Salute Tickets and FP+

Although I am not eligible, my friend is interested in joining me on a trip next year and she is eligible. I have an AP and so I will be able to book FP+ at 60 days out with our resort reservation. This is the information I found and I am wondering if anyone can explain it...

Military Salute Tickets must be purchased in person, with military ID by the eligible member or their spouse. You can pre-purchase the tickets (in the form of an exchange voucher) at Shades of Green or at a military base (MWR/ITT office), TAX-FREE! The exchange voucher is then taken to a Main Entrance theme park ticket window, where it is exchanged for the actual ticket (activated).

So, if my friend gets the military ticket, can she link the voucher to MDE so that we can both book FP+ at the 60 day window?

Thanks! Her son is almost done with basic training and she will be taking him to his assigned base where she should be able to get the voucher. She is retired military, her husband is a full-time national guardsman and now her son is almost done with his Army basic training. They are an awesome family!

Just made my FP+'s on my Exchange Voucher... worked like a charm... er, ticket.

Her son is almost done with basic training and she will be taking him to his assigned base where she should be able to get the voucher.

Be advised, most bases outside FL and CA don't actually have the vouchers; they must be ordered and picked up after they arrive. Unless the base is in FL, it's very possible (if not likely) they won't have a voucher in the drawer ready to pick up. Some bases will do that by phone, fax or email order, and the mom can order the vouchers remotely to save the potential disappointment.
