hi I wonder if I am eligible for military discount since DH is not full time now just reservist but he is OIF/OEF vet. where can I find this info. We stay value so Free dining works for us, will the military disc be better/ same? can I apply any mil discounts to an already purchased package thru disneyworld. any help would be appreciated it.

thanx.

your best bet is looking at the Shades of Green, they have an Eligibility schudule tab on thier main page, if you fall into one of those catagories, than you may qualify, so as you will see some of them state at the discression of the booking agent or manager on duty.

They follow the same guidelines as any AFRC Lodge, like Garmish Edelweiss, Dragon Hill Korea & Hale Koa.

if it is the same as before, he would need to show his orders that he is currently activated to be eligible if I remember correctly.

You could apply the military discount to an already purchased package if the offer is available during the dates of your visit and the maximum number of discounts allocated are available.

I think you should call WDW and see. It can't hurt anything:goodvibes

As a reservist, my DH has received the military discount in 2009 and 2010. He hasn't been deployed--just actively doing his monthly and annual tours--Disney knew this and we were eligible for the discount. I think the term "active" was confusing at first--it was meant to distinguish between those active reservists and those who are inactive ready reserve. Hope that helps. Basically, if he has a CAC card, he will be eligible.

I agree, their "active" term is very confusing. My husband is in National Guard and does his monthly obligation, but he too is not deployed. We received the military benefit last year, when we were able to buy 5 day park passes for $99. Therefore, you just have to be in the military to receive the benefit, don't get caught up in their term of being "active."

We got the '09 military discount and my husband is retired military. Does this count for this discount too?
