I saw a military code for checkins through 12/15. It is supposed to be 40% off. So I called to see about my dad getting a room. They broke the prices down by night. Dec 14-15 at the code price, 16-19 at the rack rate value season price, 20-21 at the holiday rate. I was a bit shocked I thought they weren't doing that until next year. And even if they were going to do it by the night, I thought the 'code' would carry through on all the nights since it is for checkins through 12/15. Oh well I don't even know if my dad will come with us or not. I also ran into the AKL being available the 14-22, but not the 14-17. I know people have said that before but I hadn't experienced it yet.
I told her the dates I wanted then said no those are our dates they probably won't stay as long, and nothing I could say at that point would convince her I didn't need to be transferred to a Grand Gatherings line. I finally got very stern in the fact that grand gatherings was irrelevant as this was a completely separate booking (not to mention it only makes a total of 6 people) and all I'm wanting to know is if there is availability with this code and how much it makes the room cost. Not even planning to hold anything right now. This call is for quick information only.
