military benefits???

i was wondering if there are military benefits, discounts on anything at DL the hotels,tickets etc....?

I cant seem to find anything on it.

please help? :]

Unfortunately there is no discount through Disneyland directly on tickets (at this time at least). You can buy them from your local base, but depending on where you are stationed, it might not be much of a discount. For example, we are based in SoCal, so tickets from our MWR for a one-day ticket are only 25 cents cheaper than if we bought them from the ticket booth! Park-hoppers are a bit cheaper, up to about $40 less for a 5-day pass. The bottom line is that for us, it is cheaper to buy directly from Disneyland.com, as their tickets are usually discounted if you buy online in advance, whereas the MWR on base discounts the full price you'd pay at the ticket booth the day of your visit.

The Disneyland hotels do provide a military rate, I believe it is the same as the AAA rate, which is like 10% off, but they only have a certain number of rooms assigned to that rate, so if they fill up, there is no discount

We bought our tix while down in San Diego at Coronado Island NAS. We also were able to got discounted tix for some of the other things we were doing in the area (discounts better then what the attractions offered at the gate).

We had the military rate for our rooms at the DLH.

We also received a discount on our dinner at the Plaza Inn? Palace? (Can't remember the name) at DL when the CM realized my DH was military.

Ask around! We also got a discount on the studio tour at Warner Bros.

Not a discount, but just kinda cool. Military members (active and retired) can take part in the retreat ceremony at DL.
