I don't really see anything wrong with it.

other than the atrocious colors.

It didn't look that way on stage when she was bending over slightly to talk into the mike.

I think that dress is really cute and it isnt that much cleavage, I see nothing wrong with it.

People just have different tastes and opinions.

Well it just looked like you were calling my name!! No, I don't think tights will look good with that (IMO). That dress is supposed to be kinda fun and flashy. The tights will make it more formal. Now no offense, but I don't like the shoes. If you would like, I will find some other super cute ones in that price range. Dolce and Gabbana=love <33

D&C is totally LOVE!!!

I've never been good with pairing shoes with a dress. I usually stick to the staple...black or white ballet flats. For a formal dance..well I want to at least START in heals. haha (I've been waiting to see the christian louboutin Fall/Winter collection, but the website is only listing the summer one)

These would look pretty good with this dress. The dress is sorta 80s so the chunkyness in these shoes really will add with the effect.

Definitely no to the tights and shoes... these shoes would look really cute with that dress:

The peeptoe is good because with the dress being that short, your legs will look really long, and with the peeptoe they'll look even longer.

Or if you don't like those, look for a plain silver heel, because the outfit is flashy enough without rhinestones or bows or fringe or whatever on the shoe.

No no no tights puh-lease. Those shoes also clash very much with that dress and are just..tacky in themselves.

Go with sometimes silver and simple, strappy. Too many rhinestones will just clash. That blue dress you showed is pretty cute, much better than the fish tank thing.
