Tickets go on sale this month. I wonder how the crowds will be...

We have had our trip planned for awhile, Oct 4-11th.

My DD would love to go, but that price is crazy. At least one of us (Dh or I) would have to go with her. Just two tickets would set us back $500

We're in DL at the same time - if we were to go I would take DD. I couldn't imagine DH there for a moment!!!

i believe they are closing early for it, then everyone gets the boot unless you have the tickets. go to yahoo news entertainment. .. that is where i read about it. . yeah 250 buckaroos. . .. EEEK

The DL calendar says they are open until midnight that day, so I'm wondering what the $250 gets you.

DD has been calling all of her friends to tell them. "I'm going to be in Disneyland the same day as Miley's party!"

Ugh. I already told her we can't come up with $500 so she can stay for the party, but she is still excited. I haven't yet told her they are closing early and making all of us who don't pay leave!

Wait a minute, what if a person pays full price admission that day? They then get kicked out early because the didn't pay $250 to go to the birthday party.

Oh my what an event . I so wish everyone that wants to go can and can get tickets. If I had a daughter the right age I would love to have her go. I am sure I would not even bring it up as tickets are probably gonna be so hard to get.

Okay, I'm not seeing where they are closing the park early. We are supposed to be in the park that day. My DD loves Miley, but I'm not paying $500 for us to stay late in the park.

Anybody else know any details?

That just sounds completely ridiculous. Great that it's for a good cause and whatnot. But other than that....so lame! I wish Miley would go away already. She's not talented and she's become a horrible influence for young girls.

Okay. I just got off the phone with vacation planning. They didn't know about it right away, they had to go ask. Here is the scoop.

Evidently, DL will close at 5:00 PM on Sunday October 5th. Only those with Miley tickets will be allowed to remain in or enter the park after 5.

DCA will extend their hours until 11:00 PM that night.

I have to say I am really bummed and ticked off right now. I was really looking forward to the fireworks show. I know there was a chance with winds that it may not have been, but at least I would have been in the park. This news changes our entire itinerary.
