Miley Concert Tour

Well we have tickets for the Miley Concert in October... and wondering if those going before can give us a hint or two of what it is like... I am taking my 5 year old daughter and though she loves Hannah/Miley I am a little worried it may be too "old" for her... but hoping we will have a great time... Going with my mom and my daughter will be VERY interesting... I Remember my 1st concert (New Kids on the Block with my mom)... I think the tour started last night...

There is a thread on the Budget Board about the new tour. The first concert was last night and apparently there is a lot of Miley and a little of Hannah (her movie stuff). There was a link there to an article IIRC.

I am taking DD10 and DD9 in November, and an oh-so-thrilled DH39.

Put cotton in her ears! At five, her little eardrums are very fragile. I took my DD to the Best of Both Worlds tour two years ago, and let me tell you, I heard shrieking like nothing else in the world!

I have been to many a concert in my days, but there is something about thousands of pre-teen girls shrieking and screaming that just cuts right through your eardrums.

Miley's outfits are little more "mature" than Hannah's, but I don't think it is anything you have to worry about. No where close to what Britney wears.

She will have a great time, and it will be something she will probably never forget. Just trust me, don't forget the cotton.

Oh, and her 'roadies" like to fool the audience. They wear blond wigs, so when their head pokes up from under the stage, the entire place is one shriek-fest. The people in line for t-shirts and food would come running, only to find some guy onstage doing a mic check. Annoying.
