I'm desperately in need of a Disney fix to look forward to and am thinking about Aug 2009 :)

What's the likelyhood of Virgin having any 'Miles plus Money' fares available when they come out?

I don't really want to book a full hol - just flights or a FlyDrive so's we can use our Timeshare 'swaps' :goodvibes

Thanks :flower3:

Hi Alison, I need a fix too:goodvibes
I'm not knowledgable about M+M fares. I know Wayne is, but he's in Florida at the mo, maybe he'll login in the next few days:surfweb:
I'm interested too:thumbsup2

OP you posted what I was thinking, so I am subscribing to thread:) Hope you dont mind ;) Got 40000 miles on one card to use and 17000 on another, for 2 adults & 2 children:cool1:

Well, there seem to be M+M fares for most available dates at the moment, including those only just released. The big problem is the price of them. The taxes and surcharges are coming in at more than the fares. We want to book for next May, but we're looking at either £809 or £909 (depending on when we choose to go) for PE M+M. In the past we've paid between £500 and £650. I thought £728 for this November was bad enough. I've searched for all sorts of dates, not just May, and they're all coming in at one of the two prices I've mentioned. Fly-Drive prices are even higher. I think I'm going to sit it out and see what the coming months bring.

Even lowest normal price is £1050 for May/June so not a great saving on M+M as I am sure a sale price would come out cheaper later this year.

I booked my flights for December using Miles only - they are released 11 months in advance so I booked them when they first got released in January and they had lots available. That said with it being school holidays I don't know how many they release?

Last August we had no problem £533 + 2,000 miles for economy, this August, not a chance for our dates. I checked every day for months and found none available luckily I found miles only flight out on 1st Aug 20,000 miles each + £101 tax, got a BMI flight home for £235 via Orbitz.com. Not holding my breath for Aug 09, will be looking for miles only or indirect. I want 6th-31st Aug 09 if anyone sees a bargain:goodvibes

Thanks everyone and hope you're having a great time Wayne :thumbsup2
