Dh got this email today:
The question of which animal lays the largest egg has come to some controversy.
Most people agree that the ostrich egg is the largest commonly known egg. The
answer of a shark egg being the largest is based on the fact that an egg from a
whale shark was found measuring 14 inches in length. However, the whale shark
does not commonly lay her eggs. They usually hatch inside her body. The Port
Jackson shark does lay eggs in the 6"-7" inch range, close to size, but not
shape, of the ostrich. In deference to the clarity of the question and
testability of the answer, we are awarding 4 additional AwardMiles to everyone
who answered Ostrich.
Thank you for playing Flight Tower Trivia.

Thought that was worth passing on.
Have a great day!
