Mildly Dissapointed.

We had said we wouldnt be going back for another 2years, but the other day I saw that the military rate for tickets is back. I started doing the math and all 4 of us and his mom, stepdad, and nephew could go staying at SOG (2 rooms) for about the price of just 4 of us to stay at a Value. We would probably skip sit down meals except for maybe once because we have done all the ones we would want to do.

Well, I explained it to DH. He said his mom would probably go for it if she could get the time off. BUT, then he goes "But, I'm not sure I would really want to go again." He was really stressed out last time w/ our 4yr old not wanting to sit still at meals and stuff, and other things. I was kind of hoping he would go "Yeah since its going to only be $775 plus food why not." But, he didnt so I was mildly dissapointed. Our kids keep asking when we are going again, but we just keep saying "Later". Oh well. Maybe a christmas miracle (LOL) will happen.

They are doing the military ticket again next year?? Where did you find the info? We are contemplating a trip next year and if the military deal is back that might just clinch it.

Yep, I saw today in the Resorts forum, I think. They will be selling the tickets through July and they are good through October, I think.

I hope that he will come around. Maybe if you explain your need to get away and how this is one of the only vacation spots that is truly for families maybe he'll see the light.
