If that is indeed what we are dealing with, is there anyway to get rid of it? DD went swimming with the church youth group today. Well, it wasn't exactly swimming--we were told they were going to have the "world's largest slip n' slide" which turned out to be a tarp covered in baby oil. Yeah. If it weren't a church I would really have to worry about that.
So, at any rate, we have been washing out her swim suit--she only did it twice because as she says, it was gross. (Y'think??) But it has this black grainy looking stuff on it. She said there was dirt at the bottom of the slide, but they sprayed her off. Her suit felt greasy and I took Dawn to it and it feels clean now but still has this stuff on it. I suppose if it wasn't hung to dry properly last time she swam it could have gotten mildew on it. That is the only thing I can figure as this stuff is not coming out.
Ideas? This is a brand new and very cute suit from Gymboree.
