That is a LONG visit! Even for family. Back when my MIL traveled, 3 or 4 days at a stretch of having her for a houseguest was long enough. On the flip side, when we visit family, we stay 2 nights maximum at someone's house or get a hotel room. Lately we've been opting for the hotel room.

Well she's flying in from CA and I guess she feels like if she's spending all that money she's going to stay a while (not that she doesn't have the money to spend). She was just here in April for 3 weeks. I thought I had at least a year before we did this again.

My mom is coming the day after Christmas and staying until New Years Day. FIne for me, but poor DH! Luckily he works 8-5 during the week and won't have to spend too much time with them. I love my parents but DH can get a little annoyed with them.
