I remember a while ago that the Mike Fink Keel boats closed down. Did they ever re-open? They were pretty relaxing -- fun for little ones. I hope they aren't gone for good.

Thanks!

We were there in June and they were closed. It didn't look like they would re-open any time soon.

I believe the boats were auctioned off on eBay a while ago...which is not a promising sign.

Maybe the Disneyland Keelboats were, but the Walt Disney World Keelboats are still parked in the river at the "Wet" dock area behind Splash Mountain. Saw them yesterday :)

It is my understanding when they closed the Keelboats at WDW that they had to make some changes to stabilizes them better (so they did not flip like the DL one). The options were to close them until they could be modified or leave them open but no one could sit on the top. Obviously they chose to close them... But I can assure you that the WDW Keelboats are still owned by WDW and are still currently on MK property.
