Soooo I was putting all my fp+ and organising my 7 day Florida trip which only involved 4 1/2 days at the World and was starting to get quite stressed about fitting everything in that I wanted to do :confused3

So I might have extended my trip by 3 days so I can just relax and have fun and not worry quite so much about getting to see everything.

Please tell me I'm not crazy!!!!

Not crazy at all. I like to go for at least a week and a half, but I find that however long I stay, I still have lots of ideas for what else I could do if I only had one more day!

There have been two times in the last three years where I've just added days to our trip. The best is my husband never knows! When we get close, he asks the exact dates and I tell him!

I've done the same...9 days in Disney World in the hope I can just relax and enjoy been there...well apart from day one when someone here gave me the idea to do all four parks in one day.

Good idea, you also need days to relax and catch your breath between park days!

I think its a great idea. I did something similar. I added 2.5 days because I wanted to add in this, then that, oh, and that too! Haha. They say you can't do everything at Disney in one trip, but I sure want to try! :rotfl:

Yeh I know!! I've even gone and got myself a ticket for MNSSHP which is going to be a completely new experience because Halloween over here in the UK is nothing like the US and then you add Mickey's touch. Gonna be awesome!!!!

This thread seriously made me LOL!!

I totally understand, and do it all the time!!!!! Enjoy your trip:goodvibes

Aww thanks guys!

Not sure how to break it to my family that I'll be there for the extra days. Don't think they'll understand.

Now I just need to figure out what to do with those extra days lol. Might just leave them free and see how I feel when I wake up

I think its a good plan too...I'm not planning every day either..you need a little flexibility and pool time.

Agh very jealous wish i did that In May

THAT is a great plan! Other times I go down to the stop and get on the first bus that comes.

Is it weird that being that spontaneous actually makes me quite anxious. I'm so worried I'll be tired from the week of commando style touring that I just won't want to get out of bed. I know that it's my holiday and I can do what I want but it would just seem like a bit of a waste if I did spend a day catching up on sleep

Agree totally .. a full day rest would seem a bit of a waste...but with part plans and all that lovely Florida sunshine you should be able to enjoy a mix of parks and down time..I'm resting up when I get home...and lets not forget the ten hours return flight :)

So not crazy. Disney is huge! I went with a friend and her mom back in Feb and we were there for a week. Still not enough time to do and see everything. We didn't even make it to Animal Kingdom.

Nope not crazy at all! I'm about to extend my trip at the end of the month to have that day of relaxation.

Thanks guys!!

Anyone got any tips on how to tell my parents that I spent even more money and I'm staying longer? Don't think they will react well!

(Yes I am an adult paying for the trip with my own money but I live with my parents as as it's too expensive to move out here in London and they will be looking after my cats while I'm away :-S)

I look after my daughters cats all the time..they seem so unappreciative, the cats I mean...but I'm happy to see my daughter travelling and living life...your folks will feel the same I'm sure...that said I'm not disclosing what my upcoming trip will cost me as everyone has different ideas on the value of things.

Reading all these trip plans is no good for my wallet! I was determined not to give in, but....Diagon Alley!, Cheap flights!!

hahaha no they definitely don't! My parents have decided to go play golf in Portugal while I'm away now so the cats are off the the cattery for their own holiday. Yeh I'm taking how much I spent on this holiday to the grave!
