My dh just found out that he will have to go to San Diego for a work detail and we'll most likely tag along with him. Our kids will be on spring break that week (3/11 -3/17). We're in Texas if that matters. We will want to visit Disneyland while dh is working (I know, so unfair for dh!).

How are the crowds? I'm expecting it to be crowded but really how crowded will it be? Will it be a 10 with 60 minutes plus of waiting time?

Thanks

We were there that same week last year, and it was pretty darn crowded. Go with a plan and you should be ok!

Definitely go. Use fastpass when you can. We popped up for a day last year during our spring break, last week of march, and it wasn't too awful. Going for 3 days this year :-)

It will be busy. Plan to use FastPass and enjoy the midweek days when it will be a bit better.

Just talked to dh and he thought he was detailing in San Diego but instead he'll be in San Bernardino! That's a lot closer, than San Diego!

I read in another thread that I can take my WDW tickets and trade one day for a DL ticket. Is that right. Also can I trade in another day from my WDW tickets for a California Adventures ticket?

My trip keeps getting cheaper, and cheaper!!!

Thanks!

If you have unexpired WDW parkhopper tickets, then you can trade it in for a parkhopper ticket at Disneyland. If your WDW ticket is not a hopper, then you'll get a one-park ticket. What are your current WDW tickets? They must be the ones that have no expiration date.

Yes you can do this. You trade one day at a time at the turnstyle. The CM will almost surely need to call a lead over to help each time. If your WDW ticket is a one park per day, you will get a one park ticket. If it's a hopper, you get a hopper. So if the former go to the gates of the park you want to visit that day.

We have 10 day no expiration base tickets with water parks and more. We only have 6 days left on them. So I thought I could use two days here and the last four next year when we go back to WDW.

My tickets are on a blue resort key card that won't matter right? LOL

You will be find to use the KTTW that has your tickets on it, and use 6 of the 10 credits saving the other 4 for later.
