So all these threads on weather have gotten me into a tizzy- some say bring jackets you'll freeze then others are about how ridiculously hot it was.... I know it's all about your perspective soooo...Coming from muggy and hot St Louis how will it be?

On another thread you mentioned that you've been to WDW 8 times in late summer. IMO late summer at WDW feels much, much hotter than DLR in July. If you can survive late summer at WDW, then IMO DLR won't feel as hot.

WDW has higher humidity, and DLR usually has low humidity.

I visited DLR one year ago, this week, and it was chilly at night. For night time, I would recommend bringing long pants, long sleeve shirts, and IMO it would be a good idea to have a sweatshirt. I don't think that you would really need jackets; last year it was only a little chilly at night. You may not need the warm clothes, but it's better to at least pack them and keep them in your hotel room, just in case.

Here's some additional weather info from HydroGuy: :cool2:

Mid 80's without that nasty humidity in Florida. When we went in early June the evenings did get into the high 60's at one point. For some that might be cold but we enjoyed it. The only time we had to but hoodies was when we went in October. You will love the weather!

We live in the Chicagoland suburbs and have similar weather as you have in Mo.

So Cal weather is not what we expereince here. If it's 90 during the day here it only cools off by a few degrees at night. In So Cal it can easily be 90 during the day and in the low to mid 60's at night.

We have spent the majority of the past 24 years at DLR during the first several weeks in July. We have also been to DLR in Jan. Feb. Aug. Oct. and Dec.

There have been VERY few nights and early morning where we did not need atleast a sweatshirt or jacket in July. When my kids were little they would usally need long pants and jackets at night.

Another aspect to think about is DL is surrounded by a berm and most of ground level is protected from wind. So you can be inside DL and be comfortable and leave the park to go back to your hotel and be really chilly.

As an adult I'd never go to DLR without a couple of sweatshirts and one pair of long jeans/pants. YMMV.

I just got back from DL a couple of days ago and found that I really needed at least a sweatshirt in the early morning and evenings. There was at least one night that I wished I had packed a pair of jeans. It's very different weather than here in the Midwest.
