Question for all you Midwest flyers...I have an appropriate sized carryon, but can I also bring my small bag (baggalini) on as well, as my "purse"? Thanks

Yes I have seen that, but was wondering if my baggalini would be considered a "purse", I don't want to have any problems getting through..

Note that it says "MAY allow". Then again, they may not - depending on available space.
Most airlines allow one regulation-size or smaller carryon plus ONE personal item such as a briefcase, purse, computer case, diaper bag, knapsack...
Just have an alternate plan in case you can't have three items (e.g. make sure there's room inside one for another one).

We flew Midwest out of Milwaukee in February of 2004. I brought my purse, my carry-on and DS's diaper bag all onboard. I stowed the diaper bag under the seat in front of DS's seat. They didn't question me nor did anyone bat an eye. I agree with the pp that it might make sense to have room in one bag for another if they do balk.

Good luck!
