Midway Airport to Chicago

My friends son is getting married in May in Chicago. I live in NJ and I just booked a RT ticket on Airtran for $135.60RT to Midway Airport. I'm travelling solo and need to get by train/bus to the Talbott Hotel on E. Delaware Place. I will be arriving Friday at noon and leaving Sunday at 3PM.
What public transportation do you suggest?

Personally, I would take a cab or other hired car. Lugging luggage on public transportation is not easy.

If you don't have tons to carry the orange line is the best.

If you don't have too much luggage, the Orange Line will get you downtown. From there, it's about a 5 min. cab ride. Trains run every 7-12 minutes. You could also walk from the train to the hotel if you're up for it. It's about a 2 mile trek.

take the orange line to lake st, walk down stairs and take the #146 bus down to delaware pl. The whole trip will cost you about $2.25.
