Just an FYI for anyone flying out on Midway air (As I was supposed to be in October)

Midway halts air travel

I purchased an airline ticket through Expedia, and they are basically telling me there's nothing they can do for me. I'm going to have to get my ticket refunded by them and start over looking for a new flight.

Hopefully noone else is going through this...

I'm sorry to hear about your troubles, HBK. We almost booked with Midway, but ended up choosing Southwest instead. I'm glad we did! Once you get your money back, you may want to check out SW. They aren't a part of Expedia or Orbitz, so you have to go directly to their web site to book.

I was also booked on Midway for my trip Nov 1. I called Expedia today and was told I needed to print out my itinerary and receipt and then take them to an American ticket office if I just wanted to be re-booked. I decided it was easier to just take the refund and re-book. My flight is going to be 50 dollars more, but I had a reallly cheap flight to begin with, so it's not too bad. And in light of recent events, 50 extra bucks to go to Walt Disney World doesn't seem so bad.
