Oh am I mad right now. There is a boy in my son's school that has been trouble since he moved in a year ago- suspended numerous times. On his first day he stole $50 out of a teacher's bag and gave it away in the lunchroom- which I thought at the time was just so sad. My son has even tried to be nice to him- And how does this little dirt bag repay him- breaking into his locker and destroying some of his stuff- thankfully he had not much in there expect some art supplies but still. ARGHHHH! Now the kid took off when he saw my son-(gentle giant but he is a black belt) My son went to the guidance office and told them what happened. Let's see if they do anything. At least this boy should have to repay him for the stuff he destroyed- he can just steal the money from his parents!

I agree with you about how agrivating it is to be victimized and even worse when it is your kid.

That said, I have to feel really sad for that kid. He apparently has been having issues for a while and I wonder what has been done. Often when kids act out like this they are screaming for help. Has there been any intervention on the parent's part or has he had any counseling? Does anyone know if he is having safety issues at home? This seems like a situation that really needs investigated. :confused3

:sad2: It's sad what some kids do these days.. I wonder what his home life is like.

Yes I agree issues but hello somebody deal with it please! That is why I am making noise about it. They are brushing him under the rug with "oh he is adhd" and ignoring the behaviour. He is in a foster home I believe so the kid does have some serious issues- I hope someone is helping him- but in the meantime stay away from my kind soul boy.

That's sad. My son is in 2nd grade and there's a girl in his class who has some definite problems. She got caught stealing money from another student a few weeks ago. She's 8, this doesn't say much about her future. :sad2:

On a side note - RNMOM - LOVE that picture. That is one of the sleepiest dogs I have ever seen. So sweet!

I HATE when the schools give me the "oh he is ADHD" crap. I don't care WHAT the kids is...the fact is he has hurt my child more than one time and I want it stopped, I could care less what he has. No child should have to go to school and deal with having things stolen, being hurt etc just because a child is ADHD or has any other problems, if they can not control that then they should not be in a class with other children. We have one kid in my daughters class that is always saying how he wants to go to a new school, he says he hates going to school with all these white kdis, there are to many white kids and he hates it. They don't say a word to this kid about that but if it was a white kid saying there were to many black children in the school Rev. Al would be marching on the school. They let kids get away with to much- when they should be doing something about kids they don't and then they will pick on some stupid little thing and make a big deal about it.
Well now that all that is off my chest!!

I believe the kid is calling out for attention (help).

I remember doing some stupid stuff when I was young and I try to remind myself of it as my kids grow up.

I think we're all guilty of doing stupid as kids, but that doesn't mean he'll turn out a delinquent. I've seen worse people turn around.

I'm sorry that your son was violated. I've had that happen to my children also AND with their parent watching...and do nothing.:guilty:

It's a hard cross to bear to see your child get taken advantage of. :grouphug: to you and your son:grouphug: .
