mid trip car rental

Looking to find out if anyone has done a mid trip car rental. How did it go? Any rental places drop off at hotel? Any and all input greatly appreciated.

While I've never done it myself, I know a lot of folks rent cars over at the Dolphin or at the Care Care Center. The Car Care Center offers a shuttle to pick you up, at your resort, and drop you off there when you return the car.

I rented a car mid trip at the Dolphin last August. We took the boat from Epcot to the Dolphin. It was quick and easy. We returned the car to the airport.
