Mid-October or between Thanksgiving and Christmas?

I'm really wanting to get down to the parks but I can't tolerate summer heat :sad2: and I have other plans in September. So October is the earliest that will work, but now I'm concerned about anniversary crowds :scared:.
I'm considering a Monday-Thursday trip mid to late October, either October 18-21 or October 25-28. The other possibility is after Thanksgiving, November 29-December 3.

Any opinions on which of these options would be better? We're two early 60's adults who've been many times, most recently the week before everything shutdown in March 2020. The trip would be staying at a value and doing 3 or 4 park days, pretty low key.

Thanks for your help!

If you're concerned about weather and crowds, I'd definitely for with the Nov/Dec time frame. It won't be as hot and that first weekend in Dec is typically not as busy as other times. But check availability at the resorts you want as well as park reservation availability to make sure you'll be able to get what you want whenever you go

I agree - you may want to check with WDW to see what Value resorts have any rooms before you settle on a specific time frame…

Nov/dec dates. Quieter. Non-Halloween for a normal Disney feel, cooler for sure but not bad. Lovely time of year to go.

Nov/Dec so you get to experience the holiday decorations and other things if they have them.
