Mid Oct 2010 Weather NOSEDIVE

Does Orlando know Im coming? Why is it mid 80's during the day and upper 60's at night until the moment I step off the plane? From 10/15 on, it will be upper 50's at night and mid - upper 70's during the day. Arrggghhhh.

It's us. Last family trip in Oct 08, Orlando hit record lows 3 days in a row. For our mother/daughter trip in Nov, DD and I froze the first 2 days and the last 2 days.


But, better 70's than 90's.

We will be there then too... Oct 11,12,13 looks nice though- mid 80s... 70's work for me though, already colder than that here in MA

Us too! I certainly don't want a repeat of that heat! I'm loving the mid 70's forecast. Can't wait to get there!

Those of us who live in the Orlando area have been waiting for these temperatures after five months of HOT and HUMID weather. The last thing we want is for temps to climb back into the 90's again. Sorry...you guys just visit but we live here.

First, that's 10 days out and forecasts really aren't particularly active past 5 days so I'd wait until closer to think about it (by the way we are going to be there then as well).

Second, even if the lows are 50's in Orlando the low tends to occur at about 5-6 am at this time if year and it warms up very rapidly once the sun rises. It can be low 70's by 9:00 am. Not to worry.

OP- where did you find a forecast that goes that far? I can only get the 10 day forecast and it looks to be in the 80s every day through Oct 15th on weather.com

You, being from MA, should sympathize with me..Im sick of the cold rain...give me some sunshine, short sleeves and a margarita!

www.accuweather.com It gives a 15 days forecast. Im on 10/20 today...still chilly nights, but its getting better than 10/15 - 10/19.

I'm trying to figure out why this is a bad thing....
Down here upper 70's feels wonderful! The sun is so nice and bright it warms you up. We had upper 70's today and it was heavenly. The shade can get a little cool but there isn't a whole lot of shade at the parks.

Im an 80's girl! I like it very warm. I also prefer upper 60's at night. We are going to the MNSSHP, SoA, MBBQ and some other shows at the parks at night and it would be nice to go in capris etc.. I didnt plan on packing many pants and sweaters. Im now thinking Ill need them every night, doubling our baggage count.

PS I just checked accuweather and it said 88 degree on 10/20. Don't ya know by now, not to trust any of the weather reports?

Not really sure where that forcast came from, but both Accuweather and NOAA has got highs in the mid 80's and lows in the upper 60's

I'm no meteorologist but that's just too far out to predict anyway....
