Hello again! I'm the same lady who asked for help deciding between Fantasy and Magic. Your help was invaluable and we decided on the Fantasy. Now having trouble deciding between the times! We are planning to visit Disneyland (which is close to where we live) after the trip to round out an awesome Christmas Vacation!

My choices:

Cruise leaving the 14th, before Thanksgiving. Would then fly back and have Thanksgiving at Disneyland Hotel, then go to the parks the following Monday.

Cruise leaving the 28th. We'd have a small Thanksgiving at home, then fly out the next day for the cruise, followed by Disneyland.

My concerns are A) I'm not sure I can get into Christmas before Thanksgiving. And; B) I read that not all the Christmas Decorations are up in the ships until late November.

So does anyone know what decor is missing in mid-November? And if you went on the mid. Nov. cruise, was it easy to get into the Christmas spirit so early?

I usually wait until Santa goes by on the Macy's Day Parade before we start digging out the ornaments! :D

Thanks again in advance for your help!!

Weather wise the earlier in November the better, festive wise mid to late is best for Christmas.

Christmas decorations will be up a week or so post Halloween.

We were onboard Nov 5 and they were starting to decorate. The next cruise after U.S. Was going to have all the decorations up and all the festivities.
