Unfortunately we have not done much planning other than surfing the DISBoards on a daily basis... We are
DVC owners and go once a year. We don't over plan anything... prefer to take it slowly and just go with the flow as far as parks go, meaning which one to visit each day and as far as places to eat go too. We usually only do a table service lunch in the parks and come back to the room and cook dinner. We also do breakfast in the room each day as none of us are big breakfast eaters. This year we are doing a split stay for the first time. Two nights at AKL in Kadani Village and then 6 nights at the Wilderness Lodge. We did decide to try the dining plan for the first two nights but after that we will be on our own to eat somewhere.. With all the people doing the pay for 4 and stay 3 plus all the people on the dining plan it is much harder to just walk up to a restaurant to eat than in years past but we manage just fine.
Our arrival day will probably be a resort day. We are landing in Orlando at about 6:30 AM after an overnight flight. We will be tired and needing some rest but are sure the room will not be ready until close to the official check in time so we will bring our swimsuits and hang out at the pool after a quick breakfast somewhere at AK. We have our tickets from a previous visit - bought 10 day non-expiring tickets last year so we have left over days..
Other than that and planning to use the photo pass system (a new thing for us) we have nothing official plannes...
No worries we will have a great time....
