Which is the better time to go, regardless of heat/humidity? Is one month any better than the other, crowd-wise!? TIA for any info.!

Usually mid August starts to slow down crowd wise. It will still be busy but many people are ending up thier summer vacations as kids head back to school.

Weather wise, they will both be warm. I went a few summers ago and July 4th was cooler then Labor Day. We are going mid July this year because it's the only time my girlfriend can get time off from work.

I've been during both time frames and liked both. The weather is pretty much the same although we have experienced more rain in August. Mid August a lot of schools start back so the crowds are lighter. The hours are also less as well.

We have been in both mid-July and mid-August and found August to be cooler and have less humidity than July. The parks closed about an hour or so earlier than July, except for Epcot, but it was really not that noticeable. We also found the crowds to be a little bit lower in August.

Average heat indexes that I remember:
July - 100 - 110
August - 90 - 100

I just found it to be a lot less opppressive and humid in August than in July.
