Hello all! First off a thank you! This forum has been so helpful in helping me plan!
My family will be heading out to WDW in mid-ish November (Nov 19 - 22 are our park days.) Looking at the various crowd calendars (undercover tourist/touring plan/WDWprespschool), I've settled on a few options:
First option:
Thur, Nov 19th - Skipping going to an actual park. Husband will be at a convention. DD (2.5 yrs old) and I will try to get over our jet lag from the West Coast and do very simple things... character breakfast at one of the resorts (trying to get a ressie), hotel pool, check out the Disney resort Xmas decorations, etc. Then head over to MK at 4 pm with whole family for MVMCP.
Fri, Nov 20th - HS
Sat, Nov 21st - Epcot
Sun, Nov 22nd - MK - this seems a little nuts to me. One source says crowds will be high for Thanksgiving week. Another source says it'll be ok.
Second option:
Thur, Nov 19th - Head over to MK at 4 pm for MVMCP.
Fri, Nov 20th - MK - low crowds, but it's a MVMCP day so park closes early. I feel like we'll miss out on the Electrical Light Parade and other things, if we do this. I'm not sure how I feel about that yet. But maybe the night before will be enough. Plus with low crowds, we'll probably hit everything we want to hit.
Sat, Nov 21st - Epcot
Sun, Nov 22nd - HS
Third option:
Thur, Nov 19th - Head over to MK at 4 pm for MVMCP.
Fri, Nov 20th - MK - low crowds, but MVMCP day so park closes early. Intuitively, I feel like we'll miss out on the Electrical Light Parade and other things, if we do this.
Sat, Nov 21st - HS
Sun, Nov 22nd - Epcot
I'm leaning toward #2 or #3. As long as I can get over the thoughts of FOMO by not going to the MK on a full parks day. Any suggestions or insights?
Thanks all!
