Mid-Afternoon Break

Take a break??? NEVER!!!!

Granted, we do go in October w/ low crowds and comfortable temps.

When I want a relaxing vacation, I'll go to the beach or something. We go to Disney to visit and tour the parks. However, doing that everyday all week can get to be too much. We usually do 2 days of the park, 1 day of rest, 2 days in parks, 1 day of rest and the revisit whatever we want the last day. We try to schedule the full days (Illuminations, MNSSHP) before the rest days so it won't be so bad.

I would be concerned w/ my family about getting them back up and out if we went back to the motel during the day. DH would never make it!!

I am not saying if the breaks work for you not to take them, especially during the summer time, but don't make it sound like "you MUST do an afternoon break" all the time.

We are exactly like this! Two days on, 1 day off, two days on, 1 day off. We also do the late nights with the rest day following. My dh is another one who would not be looking forward to heading back to the parks after swimming all afternoon, or taking a nap. Even when we had small ones in strollers, they would nap in the stroller, while the one of the adults and older sibling rode rides.

To each his own though!

My DD would take at least a 2 1/2 hour nap every day when we went back to the hotel! She would be so tired, it wasn't even a fight!
