Ok I just bought Healthy Choice cafe Steamers General Tso's spicy Chicken one of these and it was awesome! I like Chinese food and General's chicken is my fav. This has 430 calories and is very filling just thought I'd pass it along lol.

Anyone one else fond of microwave or TV dinners?

My "diet" plan includes eating these for lunch and dinner..not this specific one (oh but I'll be getting this one a lot lol) but any like Lean Cuisine, Smart Ones, Healthy Choice...

Thanks for the tip. I love Generals' chicken but it does not usually come in a very diet friendly form. ;)

I actually bring a frozen meal to work for lunch every weekday and I usually have them for dinner a few times a week as well. I find it to be a very easy way to handle portion and calorie control and many of them are not bad at all. Some of my favorite are:

Lean Cuisine pizzas and paninis (all of them are quite good but my favorites are the Chicken Club panini and the Pepperoni pizza)
Lean Cuisine Sesame Chicken
Smart Ones Salisbury Steak w/Mac & Cheese
Lean Cuisine Chicken Enchilada Suiza
Smart Ones Santa Fe Rice & Beans

My favorites are
1. LC chicken in peanut sauce dumped over a huge mound of broccoli
2. Santa fe style rice and beans (LC or WW) dumped over a salad -- tastes like taco salad minus the chips
3. LOVE the LC panini, especially chicken, spinach & mushroom

Ooh..I may have to try the sante fe one sounds delicious! I did buy the chicken club panini today too. Along with 4 more of the General's Chicken things lol They're on sale at the grocery store buy one get one free..couldn't resist

3. LOVE the LC panini, especially chicken, spinach & mushroom

Yes, yes, yes. At 280 calories, it really does the trick of filling me up. The other paninis aren't bad either, but this one is, by far, my favorite.

yes I do eat alot of frozen meals
However I do pick out the ones with less sodium (under 600) and less fat (1/3rd of total calories)
