Am I able to bring my own micro popcorn? Do they have microwaves for our use? What about other snacks...is there a "no outside food onboard" policy or can we bring our own snacks? I've read here that guests bring their own wine but I didn't know if they frowned on outside food. Any suggestions will help, thanks!

You will NOT need to bring ANY food onboard! There is food available 24/7. No microwaves, so will have to eat what Disney have on offer........which is fantastic! :thumbsup2

There are no microwaves that I know of. As far as snacks, you can bring them onboard, but there's really not a need. There is always food around.

Plus even if there were microwaves you really shouldn't bring any popcorn---I know that the smell of micro popcorn makes me ill and I'm sure I'm not alone--I know you paid for you cabin but others did also and may not appreciate the smell wafting thru the air!!!

No one EVER goes hungry on the ship! There is a constant stream of food. The only thing I could think of anyone maybe wanting to bring would be candy since I don't think you can really get that anywhere. There are tons of sweets and desserts, but I don't remember a lot of candy.

You all have been so helpful...thanks! I realize that there is more food than we will ever need, but my DD's love those fruit snack/fruit roll-up/granola bar type snacks...easy things to keep in the backpack to buy time till the next meal...just wanted to make sure we wouldn't be asked to discard them while boarding. and re: the popcorn...I was thinking about the onboard movie times and just trying to keep things frugal $$. Would bring it straight to the theatre, not back to the room (I know what you mean about the smell!) ;)

You can order popcorn via room service then bring it to the movie theater (I know for myself I can not watch a movie w/o it!!!). Also b/f your evening shows a favorite stop for my kids (though I could NOT imagine HOW they were hungry again.....I was always too full from the FOUR desserts our server would give us everynight!!!) was Preludes, a little snack/soda shop w/ all Disney theme candy right outside the Walt Disney Theatre. Their favorites are those god awful gummies & sour sprays!!! They even stocked up & brought some home for friends. Hope this helps!!

We always bring the granola bars; fruit snacks, & juice bags as well. It is easy to toss those in the backpack when getting off the ship in port & help to keep the kids happy when walking around. You can't bring opened containers or food back on the ship, so the small bags are great for that as well.

When I read the title of this thread, I had to chuckle. There was just a question in our paper from a lady asking if there was fiber in popcorn because she ate it a lot for dinner. She also said, "my ambition in life as a child was to be able to eat popcorn whenever I wanted when I grew up!" :confused3

You can order popcorn, but it's listed under the snack and beverage package options, so I'm retty sure there's a charge for it.

I'll never forget the time I burnt the popcorn in the microwave. Man, was that nasty, and I couldn't get the smell out for weeks :rolleyes2

You can get candy at the Treasure Ketch (deck 4 midship) as well as outside the Disney theatre before shows. I like my candy :teeth:

We brought nothing - and none of us lost weight - including 4 y/o and almost 2 y/o. We have no allergies, so that was easy. I know someone whose 4 y/o DD has allergies and the chef made things special for them the entire cruise!

You would hate working where I work. I have never seen so many people who eat microwave popcorn for breakfast!! :confused3 Someone always burns it, too! :crazy2:
