Microtel Inn, Kingsland GA

My initial plan was to get from SE PA to Savannah on our first day of driving. WHile shopping at the Disney store last night, the CM and I realized that we are going to be at Sports the same week and we are both driving. She suggested getting to Kingsland, GA. I found a Microtel hotel for a great rate with a good rating...any info you have would be great! Thanks!

I stayed in a Microtel Hotel in Mt. Pleasant, MI a couple of years ago. I was surprised how clean and nice it was.

Microtel just outside the Raleigh-Durham airport here I got stuck at RDU one night on the way home to Boston (big shock, it was snowing here). Room was small, VERY clean, and, um, right - free continental breakfast.

Clean is the most important to me...free bfast is great too...can't beat the deal!

Oh, yeah - the deal. The airline didn't pay for the rooms - weather not being their fault - but they did provide the reservations. I asked for "cheap and clean". Through some arrangement with the airline, the room was $38. Admittedly, this was a few years ago

Our AAA rate is 59 for the night...half the cost of the other hotel we had booked
