I am trying to write a questionaire for work in Microsoft word and have it so that when someone goes to write in the space the rest of the sentence does not move.

For example:

First Name:_________________ Last Name:______________

now if someone goes to type on the line it moves the whole sentence and I dont want it too. And I don't want anyone to be able to edit the titles or questions that I have, I just want them to be able to type there answers on the line.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ok, I don't "know" how to do this nor if it can be done. But ...... I went into the "help" feature of Word and typed in "Create Form" and it seemed plenty of help appeared. I don't have time right now to go along and see how it works but normally the help is usually pretty good. You can print out the sheets you need and go along with it . Good Luck.

I have Microsoft Office 2003, and here is where I found it...

Go to

Tools - Drop Down
Protect Document - A box will open on the right hand side your
screen
2. Editing Restrictions - Check Box for
Allow only this type of editing in the document - Drop Down
Filling in Forms

See if that works. Good luck, I know it can be a pain!
