Hi folks,

If you're using Microsoft Windows, I'd appreciate it if you could help us in some basic research for our website. We'd like to know what font size you're using on your computer. The choices are "Small," "Large" and "Other."

To find out what font size you're using, click Start, then Settings, then Control Panel. Click "Display," then "Settings," then "Advanced." Near the top of the screen you should see a box with the words "Font Size" in it. Please indicate in the poll what font size you see.

Thanks very much for your participation in this. It'll help make the Unofficial Guide's website much easier to use.

Sincerely,

Len Testa

Hey Len.

I have DPI (assume it is the same)(XP Pro). And I have Normal. Do we all get front of the line passes from you guys when Disney comes out with them for helping in your survey? :p :teeth:

I'm using XP Home and mine says "Normal size (96 dpi)". So I chose "other" on your poll.

I have mine on small. Hope that helps you out. :)

Hi folks,

Thanks very much for voting! In Windows 2000, small fonts are considered "Normal," but I'm not sure about other versions of Windows.

If you vote "Other," it would be great if we could know what setting and versions on Windows you're using.

Hey Dan, I promise that the thing we're working on will be free. How's that?

Thanks again for your help.

Moderators, could you edit the poll so that the "Small" option reads "Small (a.k.a. "Normal") Fonts" please?

Thanks very much,

Len

My computer says normal, so I'm assuming that means "small". I voted small. Hope this helps!

In XP, I use Normal. I always use either Normal or Small, depending on my operating system...

(I edited the poll wording for you, Len.)

Another normal user here. I find when I put it on large it messes up the look of my documents, web pages, etc.

BTW, I'm running at 1024x768 resolution if that helps too. I know my company's website is optimized for 800x600 and everytime I go there I see a sizable blank space on the right side.

:)
