You are brave. I did Mission Space ONCE and that was it for me. I am entirely too claustrophobic to do that ride.

Mission Space was one and done for me. My mom and I rode for the first (and only) time about 15 years ago and didn't know much about it. We saw a bunch of teenagers crowd into the less intense line so we thought "we're not babies, let's do the Orange side." WOOOOO BOY. Humbled.

I'm surprised it doesn't bother me because I get vertigo sometimes.

Mission Space was one and done for me. My mom and I rode for the first (and only) time about 15 years ago and didn't know much about it. We saw a bunch of teenagers crowd into the less intense line so we thought "we're not babies, let's do the Orange side." WOOOOO BOY. Humbled.

LOL! We usually do the orange side but decided to do green since we had just eaten.

Lunch, Hang gliders and Buffalo!

After our spin on Mission Space, our stomachs were telling us they were hungry. Some might not be able to "stomach" anything after the ride, but we were ready for some lunch. I placed a mobile order at the Electric Umbrella....wait....that's gone and in it's place is Connections Eatery. It took us a little while to find a table but it wasn't as crowded as when we visited back in May. John ordered the General TSO Chicken Salad:



While I went with just a cheeseburger and fries.




I think that we also got a coke but I know that we ordered this beauty too...I present the strawberry something or other (I forgot the name..sorry):



I forgot to mention earlier that I had gotten a boarding pass for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind that morning and I checked to see what group was boarding. We still had approximately 345 minutes!



Lunch done, we cleaned our table and started towards our next lightning lane attraction which was Soarin'. We had already been to space so why not soar through the sky?



I have always loved Soarin'. You'd think with me being afraid of heights that I'd be afraid when we are on the upper tier of Soarin'. I do have to turn my head to the side a bit when we go up and over some of the landmarks but for the most part, I am good.

Once we landed, we looked over and Living With the Land was short so we hopped in even though we had done it just the day before.


It also gave me the opportunity to take more pictures of the land house.

I wanna be a gardner!

John and I have a biggish garden, a smallish garden, and a greenhouse but it's nothing on the scale of Living with the Land. I'd love to have something on this scale. Not that I ever will but a girl can wish can't she?

I do have to turn my head to the side a bit when we go up and over some of the landmarks but for the most part, I am good.

I'm the exact same way. My kids were laughing at me when I would squeeze their arm at certain scenes.

That picture of the Epcot ball with the sky & clouds looked like it belonged in the Honey I Shrunk the Kids movie. My first thought was what a golf ball in the backyard looks like to an ant.

That's me too! I have my arm looped through the family member sitting next to me. I'm not scared scared. Just a little scared.

Let's experiment with somethin'

My memory is gettin' a little fuzzy here. I have a picture of a frappe sign but I don't have a picture of us drinking one, stopping anywhere, etc. However, I do think that we shopped a little and I'll tell you why I think that in just a minute. First, I have us going to our next lightning lane and it was for Remy! I love this attraction. It's cute and it shrinks me down to the size of a rat. What more could a person want?



I was wearing my Ratatouille themed ears. They were grayish "fur" with checkered Remy and food fabric. Did I tell y'all that I love matching my outfits to the park we visit? I do! We aren't returning to Disney until November and I have already started planning my outfits.

Moving on....we stopped to pick up our 3D glasses:



Hum..... what if?

We kept following the non-existent line and were soon seeing this:



We were making bets on what color mouse we would be riding in. Was it this one?



Or this one?



We got the brown one!




And soon we were off!



This is where the hmmmm comes in. What if I tried taking pictures through my 3D glasses? Yeah, that's not too bad.





But if I have my glasses off, I won't be able to enjoy the attraction.

Let's experiment with somethin' cont'd

I just realized that I only had two more pictures for this update so it's a shorty mcshorty post.

The ride was just as fun as we remembered it (not like I had forgotten about it's awesomeness but you know what I mean). We waited our turn to disem-rat and I snapped two pictures really quickly.





Heck, I'll just post a bit more 'cause I have two more pictures that I can post even though they don't go with the post title. I'll insert a second title here:

Man, I love this thing! It makes it so easy!

The reason that I remember us doing some shopping is the fact that we made the decision to go back to the resort and drop off our bags. I didn't really want to lug them around and have to tuck them under the table or beside me when we had dinner. Back in the day when Caribbean Beach buses were the only option to go back to the resort, we would have just rented a locker. But, now that the skyliner is an option, it makes it so easy to glide on over to the resort and back.

We went through the exit and straight up the ramp to the skyliner. We were on it in no time at all.

Man, I love this thing! It makes it so easy!





We walked over to our building, dropped off our purchases, freshened up a little bit and walked back over to the Skyliner station. We were hittin' the Skyliner at just the right time of day because we were back at Epcot in no time.

The skyliner is truly a game changer. I went from "I will only stay deluxe DVC" to "I wonder if I can get a room at Pop." It is so convenient to get to Studios and Epcot. And it is also fun to just jump on and ride around for a rest during the day or to grab a meal/drink at another resort.

It's absolutely a game changer. All those folks who used to say they didn't like Caribbean Beach because it was too big are now scrambling to find a room there to take advantage of the Skyliner. We have taken it over to Pop and Art just to shop and look around.

**Sorry for the long delay in getting back on the Dis and writing on my report.

We've been busy around the home front....repainting the kitchen, living room, foyer, etc. and we also prepared and planted our garden. We've been busy bees. Speaking of which, we are seeing a few honey bees here and there and are hoping that they will soon make our hives home.

OHHHHHH I forgot something else! I almost died a few days ago. Not kiddin'! I got choked while eating, stopped breathing and John had to do the Heimlich on me. It took several tries to dislodge whatever it was that I was choking on and get me breathing again and I think he cracked a rib or two 'cause I'm hurting like the dickens. I'm trying not to make a big deal out of it because he was so afraid that he was going to hurt me and he did. I keep reminding him that at least I'm not dead. I'll take a cracked rib or two over being six feet under.

Anyway, that's why I have been absent for a bit. Painting, gardening, choking, almost getting dead, you know...the normal stuff we all do. Let's get this show back on the road.

Canada! Oh Canada! You're a lifetime journey for the traveler!

Once back at Epcot and while heading towards Canada, I did mobile check-in for our dinner reservation.



We strolled from the back entrance of the park towards Canada. We got to the restaurant and found a place to wait until they called our name or we go the text saying that our table was ready. There was some construction work going on in the area and they were diverting guests to the O'Canada show through this entrance. 9 out of 10 times, the guests thought they were going the wrong direction and would turn around and go back the way they came. Not 2 minutes later, we'd see them again. In their defense, the signs weren't clear on where they needed to go.



Our wait wasn't long and I received this text:




A hostess took us to our table which was kind of small and close to a large group but it wasn't bad.



Our server took our drink orders while we reviewed the menu. Our drinks came and she also brought out the bread for us. Multigrade rolls and pretzel rolls which were both so good!



Oh and the butter...you can't forget that butter!




The server would pop in on us and make sure were good while waiting on our entrees.

Canada! Oh Canada! You're a lifetime journey for the traveler! cont'd

We both ordered this big hunk of steak and oh my geeze it was good!

I couldn't finish all of mine and the server asked if I wanted a to-go box. If we had been at home, I'd have taken it in a heartbeat but I wasn't at home and I was stuff and I couldn't think of eating another bite. Untillllll our server asked us what we wanted for dessert.



We ordered two different desserts so that we could share.

Chocolate cheesecake:

It was an excellent meal and definitely worth the two table service credits each. We wobbled outta there like two stuffed piggies.


The nighttime show was already over and the crowds had already started dispersing for the day.






We took the skyliner to Caribbean Beach, watched a little television, checked emails and got ready for bed. Tomorrow was an off day for us and we had nothing planned.

Oh no, that choking episode must have been so frightening. I'm glad you weren't alone. I hope you plan to see the doctor about your rib pain. As for Le Cellier -- yep, way more food than needed, but oh so good.

I went with John to his doctor appointment and he said that he could do xrays but, even it were a cracked rib, they would only do some wrapping around my chest. I'm going to keep a watch on my breathing and if I have any troubles, I am to go back and let them check it out. He said I am probably bruised internally from the "hugs" John was giving me. So far, I am breathing good and I only have the pain in the two ribs.

Yes! LeCellier was way more food that I could eat!

Oh goodness hon, so glad you are OK. That had to have been terrifying for both of you.

It was very scary! I told one of my bosses about it and he insisted that I let at least two people at work know when I am on my lunch break. He even suggested that I get a bell to ring just in case.

*I should have said it earlier, but my mama had a condition with her esophagus that required that she go have it dilated every few years. It really started flaring up when she was in her early 60s. I'm getting close to that age and I'm betting I am going to end up having to get the same procedure soon.

I'm so glad you are ok and that your husband knew the heimlich. So many people don't know that any more. And what a lovely meal. I haven't done Le Cellier. Maybe someday.

Glad you aren't you know getting dead. I've had that happen and it's crazy scary, glad John was there. It's been years and years since we've been to Le Cellier, we may have to go again soon.
