Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party

My boyfriend and I will be going to MVMCP this year for the first time ever. I'm pretty clueless as to what special stuff they do for it, so my question is this: how awesome is it?

This is also mine and my boyfriend's first christmas together. We are both annual passholders and are planning to go to all four parks in December to see all the special stuff they do for the holidays before our black out dates start on the 22nd. Is there anything special I can do for him at any of the parks for the holidays?
