We are close neighbors! I'm about 4 miles away from you in Norfolk!!!! What a small world after all!;)

I'm still in search of a Lime Green ribbon for our WDW trips...maybe Walmart has something...I'm heading there now!

Our vacations are very similar! We're heading over to Universal on the 5 thru the 7 staying at the HRH! See ya there!

Another BayStater chimes in! I'll be at the party on the 2nd and will also be at LTT @ 5:05!!!

Hi all!! We will also be attending on the 2nd (first timer's) and will be at LTT with ps at 5:15pm. Hope to see all of you there.:D

It'll be my DH & I for our first MVMCP on 12/2/03! I'm so excited to be trying something new after my 10 or so trips to WDW. Looks like Massachusetts will be well represented. I just hope it's not a packed house this night.

Hi

I went last year at the same time and did the first Tuesday parade. It was not crowded at all. We stood in front of the castle for the last parade, which begins @ 10:40pm (by the way, its also the end of the parade, so you have to wait quite a while) and we were all by ourselves up there. It was awesome. My DH commented how great it was to have snow that didnt need to be shoveled. The snow was just so "magical", but little did we know we would have it on the ground for the following 5 months!!! Where are you from and when are you leaving and where are you staying?

hi jonsmom 57,
we had a very long cold winter in ontario this year, i can't believe i'm looking forward to seeing "snow" at wdw LOL:p does the snow just fall during the parade or at other times during the evening?
thanks
katypop:D

Hi Katypop

The snow only falls on Main Street. I had forgotten all about it until we were leaving. It gives you goosebumps. The parade is wonderful, as are the shows in front of the castle. The most memorable part were the fireworks. They are 360 degrees and circle the park. You can see them no matter where you are.

Do you know about Candelight Processional @ Epcot? It is also something to experience. Epcot is also truly beautiful @ Christmastime. Feel free to email me @ jonsmom57@hotmail.com with any questions you may have. Never too early to plan!

thanks Jonsmom57:D ,
yes we have heard about CP and plan to attend, still hoping too that the rumours about no osbourne lights is not true:( we would really like to see them, we probably won't return this time of year for some time.

Good, I am glad you heard about them. We saw the Osborne Lights last year, so if we had to miss them this year, that would be okay.

This too will be our last trip for awhile. My son is entering Kindergarten in the Fall and we really dont want to take him out of school every year for vacation. I guess it all depends on how well he does in school.

Jonsmom-I'm from western Mass-right where VT, NH & MA meet. I'll be staying at BWV from 11/30-12/4. My neice is going to be working down there for her fall semester in the WDWCP so that's my excuse for taking my 2nd trip there this year. I've been once before this same time of year so I'm looking forward to seeing the CP again. I'm bummed the Osbourne Lights probably won't be on display this year. Oh well, something to save for "next" time!

Hi Snoozan

One of my dear friends live in W. Springfield. Is that near you? I never venture out to Western Mass very often. Actually, its been about 5 years since I have been to W. Springfield.

We will be staying @ The Poly from 11/28-12/5.

Last year we crammed alot of resort hopping into our vacation because we didnt think we would go right back- but here we are.

One day we went to MK and then over to MGM for Fantasmic, which I love and The Osborne Lights. I am not really a big fan of MGM; I have a 5 1/2 year old and I just dont think there is much for him to do/see there other than Playhouse Disney, which we did and the StarsNCars Parade.

We will be heading over to AK on our first full day. On our many visits to WDW we have never been to AK. We are also doing the new Luau and maybe doing so more resort-hopping and checking out more beautiful decorations.

Have you ever tried the clambake @ The Beach Club? I have been afraid to, since we may be disappointed because we just love our North Atlantic waters seafood.

Have a great trip! How did you get your countdown clock in?

jonsmom

So far it looks as if our group will be the only ones representing Illinois, more specifically the Chicago area! It's our first time attending MVMCP and first time seeing Christmas in the World!! So excited, I'm getting goosebumps just thinking about it!! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

HI, We may be there on Dec 2nd, have not talked DH into it yet. However, can you tell me how you already have a PS at LTT?? I thought you could not make a PS until 60 days out. Thanks!!

When I bought my MVMCP tickets by phone I was able to make a dinner reservation. I am hoping to change it to CP at the 60 day mark. I really love their food.

We'll be there on Dec 2! From Dayton, OH area. We have an LTT reservation for 5:05, but I'm thinking of trying to change it to more like 5:30.

tyandbash, To make an LTT reservation when buying tickets, you have to coax your CM to find the dining option on their screen. Some are better than this than others. If your CM just can't find it (or just can't be bothered), I suggest politely hanging up and trying again. I think I read in another post that it was called "Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Experience" or something like that.

Thanks so much. I never would have known I could make a dinner PS without reading this. I got our tickets and a PS for 6:35, they had nothing earlier!! Do you think they will open up more tables at the 60 day mark??
