Mickey's Toontown Morning Madness ??

Hi, Can anyone tell me what days this is offered on?? AND, what time it starts?? Does is run for a full hour?? We are going in August and the park opens at 8 during that time, if that helps answer the questions. THANKS so much!!

You need tickets to do MTTMM - booking packages thru AAA, Costco and DLT, and perhaps others, gets you these tickets. Basically it is held at regular park opening - usually TT doesn't open till 1 hr after regular park opening, so for MTTMM, those with tix get in at opening for 1 hr in TT without the general public being admitted for 1 hr. I think it is offered Mon, Wed, Fri and Sat.

It starts like, maybe, 20 minutes after the hour, so you have time to get into the parks and back to Toontown. It's maybe 15 minutes long; just a cute little song-and-dance thingy in front of Toontown city hall, where Mickey and the Mayor make you an honorary citizen of Toontown. You can get a good view if you stand at the top step of the gazebo/band stand thingy. Then the characters go over by their houses and people line up in huge long lines to get pictures taken with them.

DD5 liked it, but DD10 thought it was lame. But then she's not into the characters that much.

Thanks!! We booked our package through Disney, so we have the tickets. Just trying to plan everything. My DH and DS(11) want a sleep in day,lol!! Sounds like that might be a good day for it. My dd's and I will go though!!

When you get to the park that day, head STRAIGHT for TT - we got there early and were in line early, and were able to see most of the characters before everyone else got there - therefore, we didn't have to wait in the long lines after the ceremony to get autographs. We met Pluto, Mickey and Minnie and Goofy before the ceremony, which only left Chip and Dale for afterward. We actually skipped Mickey's House altogether, because the lineup was about 50 people long!! And we'd already seen him, got pics and autographs anyway!
So even though you may have to wait in line a bit, it pays to be there early, unless you like waiting in lines for characters!
