Mickey's Toontown Morning Madness vs Early Entry

We just booked our December trip (yay!), and have a few questions. With our package, I think we get both one early entry and one "Mickey's Toontown Morning Madness." These are two different things, right? One is in (mainly) Fantasyland an hour before scheduled park opening, and one is in Toontown at scheduled park opening, but an hour before Toontown's scheduled opening? But you need a "ticket" for each, right, so we can do them on different days?

Finally, anyone know which days each of these are currently running? It would help in planning our PS's. TIA!

EE uses your regular park hopper. Its on Mon, Tues, Thur and Sat.

Morning Madness will take a special ticket, that will come in your package. It is held on Mon, Wed, Fri and Sat.

If you did it on Mon or Sat you could do both in one day. After your hour of EE just head on over to toon town. The actual entertainment/ parade doesnt start for about 15 min after they open toon town. I wouldnt dawdle, but you dont have to run either.

Thanks, Linda! So what's the general consensus--is it more crowded if you do them both in one day (Monday or Saturday, because it only uses up one day on your parkhopper), or more crowded to do them individually (Tue/Thu for EE and Mon/Wed for MTMM, because the entire crowd is at one event)?

Or is not as big a factor as it is in WDW?

Dont think its a big deal either way. There was probably less then 100 people the two times we've done morning madness. We did a Monday last Oct. It was our last day and the park had been packed our entire trip. We got to early entry a little late but still managed to ride most of the thing we wanted. Morning madness was great. We were there less then an hour- rode Cartoon spin a couple times, the little coaster, and got autographs from Goofy, Max, Minnie, Mickey and Pluto- plus watched the parade and ceremony. It was a good use of time. In March we went on a Friday- our first day in the park. We just rode the rides, looked around and went on our way.

However, that said- I recomend doing EE as early in your trip as possible. The first or second day if possible. Why? you ask.......Because the further in to our trip the more tired you'll be! It gets harder and harder to get up in the morning. Morning Madness is not as much of an issue since its typically not as early.
