Does everyone get dressed up for Mickey's Not so scarey Halloween? We have a 3yo and 1.5 yo not sure if this would be fun for them. Looking for help and info.

I took my Mom and two sons last year. They were 4 and 9. Yes they did dress up, one Buzz Lightyear and the other a baseball player. It was fun. It is over late in the evening and the 4 year old fell asleep early so he did miss the parade and the rides, good thing my Mom came. We had a good time.

You can, if you like, keep the costumes very simple. (And yes, they are optional.)

Remember that the weather is unpredictable, but liable to be warmer than you're used to if you come from the North. You and the kids need to see where you're going, and get on and off rides safely without flowing costume parts that can get caught in the machinery. Think carefully about footwear as well, since a little Cinderella in adorable plastic "glass slippers" is going to be crying and limping after a hike across the Magic Kingdom.

Given all that, well, anything goes. Have fun!

Totally up to you. My kids dressed up both times we went. We are going again on Oct 24 and my kids are dressing up. ages 8 and 10. I saw a lot of adults dress up also. Whatever you decide, you will have a lot of fun. The Disney characters even wear costumes.
