Mickey's Philharmagic for 20 month old?

My DH and I loved this and our DS loves Donald Duck so we can't wait to take him to see it. But I didn't know if he would actually keep the 3-D glasses on (won't wear sunglasses.) Also I just read it can be bad for their eyes!

Anyone have a toddler and do this attraction successfully?

My son was the same age when we went 2 yrs ago. He loved it, but he did not keep his glasses on at all. But he enjoyed the music and the effects of the show even without the glasses. And I wouldn't worry about it harming the eyes....it's a short show and I believe the damage comes from long term usage.

My 16mt old seemed to like it. Didn't wear the glasses.

We actually ended up leaving during the show (I'm not one of those people who will hang around with a fussing child (or 2). It was just too busy of a show for my boys, they also would not wear the glasses either. You can always try for a seat in the theatre that would make it easy to leave if you had too.

My son didn't wear the glasses until he was 5yo, but was fine otherwise. I have the same question now with my DD. Honestly I think it might be too much for them at this age. If he reaaly likes Donald I would definately try and do a character meet. Well some kids get afraid but my son looooooved the characters at that age, he'd hug and kiss all of them .
Anyway if it's something you would like to do just go ahead and try it, I am sure he will let you know how he feels. If he doesn't like it you could just leave maybe try and sit close to the exit just in case.

My 16mo loved it! He was mesmorized by all the music. He didn't wear the glasses, but had a great time and actually watched the whole thing. (On the other hand, we walked out of Muppet Vision 3D...)

I went with my girls when they were 1 (they turned 1 there) and again at the age of 4. At 1, 2 out of 3 of the girls liked it but I had to walk out with one of them, which I expected, as did like anything too loud. they didn't wear the glasses back then but did wear it this past trip
