Thanks for that. As soon as i saw this in my inbox, I headed over to the DCL website. We are both at home as it is Graham's 50th birthday today. Well, looks like the Westbound Transatlantic is favourite if we can get it for a decent price. I quite like the sound of the Baltic, but am not the least bit interested in the Med cruises. Graham is the other way round. The European repositioning cruises look just too expensive for what they are. I would take the Eastbound Transatlantic as well, but would love to see St. Maarten and Tortola.

Guess what I got in the mail on Saturday from Disney cruise line lost and found dept?!?!......My fish extender!!!! :goodvibes :cool1: :yay:  I'm such a happy girl! I have NO idea where it could of ended up but so happy that I got it back. Now my faith is restored in mankind. hehe :)

WOOOO HOOOOO!!!!!

Dawn, I am so happy you are getting this back. I cannot imagine how they figured it was yours since it only had first names (right?) but who cares how, they found it!!!! So happy for you.

Corinna,

I just saw this post and had to let you know Dale's bday was the 6th also!!! Small world and he isn't yet 50 but he's not real far behind (hope he's not still hanging out to see this, lol).
:rotfl: (if so, love you honey)!

It did have our last name on it also. :) I am happy they found it too! I wonder what happened to it.

Obviously Dawn it got lonely. It got tired of just "hanging out" all day and night so it took an extended leave:lmao: :lmao: to explore the ship. Get it? Your fish extender took an extended leave. Glad to hear you got it back. Now lets all celebrate by planning on using it on another cruise. :cool1: :thumbsup2

This is so strange. The colleague that I car share with, who is also a good friend, celebrated his 40th birthday on the 6th.

Dawn, I am so glad that the Fish Extender has turned up!

Graham is working from home tomorrow so that he can try to book our Transatlantic Cruise as soon as booking opens. I so hope that we can get it for a decent price.

You are SO funny Dale! I agree on the planning....going to start looking at what is available for 2010.
I FINALLY got my mother to give me her camera and I have downloaded all her pictures. I'll be working on those over the next several days. Now I can add some pictures of my table mates. :goodvibes

We managed to get our Westbound Transatlantic Cruise yesterday. By the time we managed to get the website to work, all the category 11s had gone. So we ended up booking a category 10 and have ended up on deck 2 aft.
We have decided to postpone our vow renewal for another year and try to do it on the Transatlantic cruise. That gives me an extra year to save. We will probably go with the REAS package again for the cruise next year.
Graham is a little bemused, by having two cruises lined up. I keep telling him that this was the case this year as well, but he insists that we only did one cruise and just changed ships halfway through.

Corinna, congrats on getting a cabin on the Transatlantic!!!! That's got to be amazing. I can see putting off the VR for that! Graham is funny, about you only doing one cruise, lol.

Hello Monica! You still out there:confused3 ? It's been like 6 months since the cruise. Where is your trip report:surfweb: ? I'm beginning to forget that you and Warren were even on the trip:rotfl: .

What trip report? Have I been on a trip recently? I think I remember falling down the stairs last week. Do you mean that trip report?

That would be your "fall" trip report (get it):lmao: We want your end of summer trip report. :rotfl:

I have a question for my DVC friends. My mother has an interest all of a sudden in the DVC. She wanted to know two things...(1) How many DVC points does it take for a 7 night Disney cruise and (2) How much do the annual fees cost?

Here is a link to the points charts for 7 night cruises:
http://dvcnews.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=148&Itemid=122

DVC is not a good deal if you want to use the points to cruise as cruises tend to use up tons of points. We cruised on points for our cruise on the Wonder as we ended up with 2 years' worth of points and could not have used them up otherwise. We are foreseeing being in the same situation in 2011. The points that we will get on December 1st will be enough to last us for the next two years as we are also cruising in both years. So we will bank all of the December 2009 points so that we can use them between December 2010 and November 2011. That will give us two years of points to play with in 2011 and I rather fancy using them to try out the new ship.

Dues were as follows this year. They do tend to go up a little every year:

Beach Club Villas $4.80/pt.
Animal Kingdom $4.71/pt.
BoardWalk Villas $5.04/pt.
Wilderness Lodge Villas $4.87/pt.
Hilton Head $5.16/pt.
Old Key West $4.56/pt.
Saratoga Springs $4.21/pt.
Vero Beach$6.04/pt.

Hey everyone :)

Congratulations Corinna on getting that Transatlantic cabin!! I have been waiting for ages for the European cruises to come out, and now that they have, we can't go :(

Because... we're getting MARRIED!! We're going to Disney World in August 2010 to get married at the Wedding Pavilion. I am soooo excited :teeth:

Hope you guys are good since the cruise! It's even more busy here what with a wedding to plan
