HI! I was wondering if anyone knows when you will be able to start booking you're tickets for the MNSSHP? And do they do anything special on Halloween as oppose to other days or it's all the same? We are going for this and I wanted to do the best day possible between the 30th and 31st! Which would those of you who have done this recommend? Thanks for any and all input!

I would love to know the same information. My family is trying to plan a trip down there just to see MNSSHP! My girls want to see what Disney is like at Halloween time. We are going to be staying at FW for the first time with our new travel trailer.

Also, does anyone have an idea as to when they usually have the MNSSHP?? They have not posted the dates yet..making it hard to plan the trip right now!!

Thank you!

We attended MNSSHP last year at the beginning of October. There was a huge MSSNP Q&A thread which I read through and this is what I remember.

I don't think they do anything differently on Halloween than on other nights. I know Halloween night sold out and several people commented that that is typical. Last year some of the dates around Columbus Day also sold out.

I think they might begin selling tickets in May, but don't hold me to that.

We attended on a Sunday evening. I don't remember the other nights it is hosted, but know there are many veterans of MSSNP out there who might remember. Hope this helps.

We had a great time. Would love to go back this year, but don't think it will happen.

Ok..I'll try to remember all the tips they (the people on this board) gave me last year regarding the MNSSHP. First of all we went on Oct 28th last year and it was GREAT!!! I just wish I would not have gotten caught up in the parade and fireworks and done some of the other special things they offered. I know the party on October 31st sells out first. I was told that that is usually the most crowded party and I chose NOT to go there on that night because my son was only 2 years old at the time..and it didn't matter if we went on Halloween or not. IT was pretty crowded on the 28th..but not bad. My advice would be to book early (I'm pretty sure you can book in May) and HAVE A PLAN. Like I said they have TONS of stuff going on at the party (lots of MNNSHP exclusive souviners too that you can only get during the party) so don't get caught up on one thing. (We spent way to much time on the parade and fireworks..while they were nice...they really were not much different than the regular parades and fireworks -except the Halloween theme of course.) I don't think they really do anything special or different on Halloween night. Just relax..enjoy the atmosphere (disney does Halloween like only disney can) and have fun!!! Kids and adults dress up for this party too. It makes it lots of fun~! Have a great time!!! :cheer2:

Princess-RN,

Thank you for the information...it certainly helps..that is more than I knew!!

Wow! great info! Thanks! i had heard before that they sell special halloween shirts etc.... Is that in all the stores during the party hours or certain locations? I guess once the information is official all of that will be posted here! Thanks again for the great info! :teeth:

Tickets for MNSSHP usually go on sale during the summer and if you have a choice, try to go on a weekday night. A lot of locals attend on Friday and Saturday nights so it gets pretty crowded. Also, I have to disagree with the above poster - we absolutely love the parade and fireworks! The parade is completely different with special Halloween costumes, lights, and music and you won't see it any other time. Also, even though the beginning of the fireworks will be the same as normal, there are added effects at the end that you will not see anywhere else so we highly recommend finding a spot in front of the castle for viewing. We have never had a problem seeing and doing everything we wanted including getting TONS of candy! Also, I highly recommend everyone dressing up. We didn't the first year as we thought it would be more for kids, but we felt out of place not being in costume. It was so much more fun dressing up and we got more candy. ;)

Link to dates and info.

Dates: September 30, October 2, 4, 7, 11, 13, 16, 18, 21, 23, 25, 27, 28, 30, 31

They used to go on sale around August but last year went on sale May 1.

I've gone Hallween night twice now and had a great time even though it was crowded and sold out. The trick or treat lines go really fast. We had a great spot for the parade. LOVE it. There's no where else we'd rather been on Halloween if we're at WDW regardless of the crowds but if you want less crowds, avoid Fridays and Hallween night.

Our Family went to 2 Halloween Parties last year & it was one of the most memorable parts of our trip (Maybe since Halloween is my families favorite holiday).

I also disagree with the previous poster who said the parade & fireworks are nothing special. The parade is greatly themed & well done (I love the Music). We video taped it, and my kids just love watching it too listen to the music. Also, the end of the fireworks are not to be missed with the 360 degree fireworks all around you.

I would just suggest to try and go on a weekday night. Watch the 2nd showing of the parade for less crowds.

Try not to plan too much during the day so you can stay until the end of the party. The crowds really start to clear out after the fireworks.

We're going at the end of September this year & I was so excited when I saw they were having a MNSSHP on 9/30 (We leave on 10/2).
