I have the same trouble every year. I can never find the tickets for this event on the wdw website. Could someone in the know post a link for this non technological lady please?

Also I cant remember my old sign in details so I've had to start from scratch. sulk

The good news is however that I need to make a new count down :)

the reason you can't find where to purchase the tickets is the tickets aren't yet available.

We went to MNSSHP last year for the first time and absolutely loved it. It totally renewed our love for Disney. The CM's were top notch and the CM's in the parade interacted with us quite a bit. It was absolutely one of my all time favorite Disney experiences. We plan on going again this year for sure!

Generally how much are these events?

And how crazy busy are they?

We don't watch parades as I'm not comfortable in big crowds-don't usually watch fireworks either;
Unless from a distance.

I sound like a right bah humbug?!!

They generally $60-70 a ticket and yes they can be busy especially if you attend a sold out party.

Personally, we won't pay the money if the party is sold out as its not worth it to us. There are too many people in there and it is just like a regular park day. To get the advance purchase price is available you only have to by the day before and normally if a party is going to sell out it will do a couple of days before so we always wait.

Also the MNSSHP in our opinion is much better value than the MVMCP.

agreed with both points

we used to buy MNSSHP as soon as they were released.
This year we will wait until the day before.
This will allow us to avoid sold out nights (even if it means not going at all, as we're not paying $70 to get pushed and shoved around in a jammed packed park like we were in 2013 on a sold out night)
and it will also allow us to have a look at the weather forecasts

And, for the second point, even though MVMCP has the magic of christmas, it's still a tad below the atmosphere of an halloween party.

So, if we just check the day before an event;
And then decide yay or nay.

We will be there in mid October.

Will be heading to MNSSHP in September .. was just curious how crowded the party typically is on a tuesday in september! anyone with info please let me know! thank you =]

Hi Heather - we went to MNSSHP last September on a Sunday. It was busy, but it wasn't as busy as we had anticipated. Even after large numbers of people had taken up there spot along the parade route, we still managed to get front spots for the first parade.

It was also the only time we managed to ride SDMT and it was a walk on! Same with Splash Mountain and Railroad Mine Train. Walked straight through most of the trick or treat points too. Only line was at Liberty Bell.
