Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party

Can someone tell me about this event? Is it really crowded towards the end of October. Is it worth it to buy the extra tickets for this party? We are planning a trip for the end of October and do not know much about this.

It is worth the price in our opinion. We love this party.

Here are a few of the things it offers:

trick or treating for young and old
special Halloween parade
special Halloween fireworks
dance parties with the characters
special character appearances
characters are in costumes
open from 7:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m.
limited # of tickets are sold so there is no waiting in line for rides (or very very minimum waiting)

Halloween evening is usually a sell out. Days getting closer to Halloween tend to be more of a sell out. Weekdays are less crowded than weekends. We have gone the last 5 years usually around the 24th-ish and it has never been sold out. We always choose a weeknight.

You can enter the park at 4:00 with your MNSSHP ticket.

Oh my gosh, GO! GO! GO!

My DD and I went a few years ago and loved it so much we went back a couple of nights later! It was wonderful! Probably the most fun we have ever had!

The candy at the trick or treating is the good kind...like trick or treat in a rich neighborhood!

The parade (and we usually don't line up for parades) is wonderful! The headless horseman rides thru at the start. There are more characters in the park than at any other time. You will see characters that are never out! The wicked witch from Snow White gave my DD an apple!

You can walk on to rides!

Cinderella's coach is outside the castle so you can take pictures in front of it!

I could go on and on! Be sure to go, you will not be disappointed! If you do go, get to the park before regular closing time (a couple of hours). Let them know you have MNSSHP tickets and they may be able to wristband you at that time. As the park closes for regular guests, be near you favorite rides and walk right on. You can even walk onto Dumbo!
