Who has been, who is going, and what is it like. We bought tickets for this on September 15, and we have reservations at Liberty Tree Tavern. Never eaten there before. And never been to mnsshp.....LOOKING FORWARD TO IT... any suggestions..................... pirate: :joker: princess: :wizard:

It's a lot of fun! The kids had a great time trick or treating. You might want to rethink having a big, sit down meal. It costs a lot extra for the tickets,so spending an hour or 2 eating might not be the best use of your time.

What is there to do.... I know they have trick or treating, I also know there is a special parade too....what else... we have been to Disney 4 times and never been to either the Halloween or Christmas Party. Is there a certain spot this is held or is it the whole park.... :confused3

We went for our 2nd trip to Disney and had an aboslute blast. We are going Sept 29 this year. It was awesome riding the rides with very little wait. We are eating at LTT too!!!!!! We are so excited!!!

The parade is great, complete with the headless horseman- and there are 2 parade times. I have heard the second parade is less crowded.

Main Street looks really cool, with shadowy ghosts and witches flying around.

There are special fireworks and trick-or-treating trails- and they give out lots of good candy.

You can get into the park around 4:30 even though your ticket says 7:00.

I have heard Liberty Tree is great at MNSSHP because the characters are dressed for Halloween.

Have a great time!

Hey there! We are going to MNSSHP on September 15th too!
This is our first trip to WDW. Staying at the POP from 09/12 to 09/19.
Can't wait!!

:wave2: Hello. I'm a newbie too to the MNSSHP and looking forward to it Oct 5th In addition to the trick or treating and the parade, they also have a special Halloween version of Wishes fireworks show. There are Meet and Greets with the characters, a magic show and a dance party. They also have the Disney Villains out in front of the castle.

All of the characters are in costume and lots of the guests. I can't decide what our family will do for costumes!

Thats another thing.... I know the kids will dress up BUT I was thinking it would be fun for all of us to dress up....The Incredibles!!!! Not very original I know. But easy and fun! We will see. I am l@@king forward to it.... I have heard a lot about it..... We will be visiting from the 14th to the 24 th staying at POR. :cool1:

I love MNSSHP!! I wouldn't have a sit down meal during it though... waste too much time. I love the parade, fireworks, and going around trick or treating. It's the BEST time. We're going Oct 2nd.
We went to MVMCP 2 times last year and had the parks to ourselves especailly after the 2nd parade.

We'll be doing our first MNSSHP on September 15th as well. We're not doing a TS dinner...instead we'll be doing CS once the party starts. I'm going as a pirate...my costume is almost finished. Not sure what DH will be yet.

We are also going to our first MNSSHP on Sept. 15th!!! :stir:

Our dinner for that night is Tony's @ 5:45...

So far I can't convince anyone else to dress up... :sad2:

I can't wait to see MK decked out in spooky trimmings!... and with the gold coming off the castle it will probably look pretty creapy too!...

My girl friend and I will be there Sept. 15 dressed as pirates. It's our first MNSSHP and we will just snack our way around the park. Foofness, if no one else in your party dresses up, that shouldn't stop you. Lots of full grown supposedly adults will be dressed up and having all the fun.

Hi! We'll be there too! We're going on 10/2 and 10/6. My daughter is getting made over at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique to be Tinkerbell. My son is going to be a ref, complete with black and white striped shirt and whistle. (we figured this would be very cool and won't be awkward going on the rides) I plan on being a poodle skirt girl. My hubby, no clue what he's going to be.

We can't wait!!! We have never been during this time so we are just so excited to try this special event. Our kids are just completely pumped up about it. :teeth: We're going to have SO much fun.

We have a lot of ADR's but that is the one day I'm keeping everything open. I know that I'm not up for a big sit down dinner when I'm going to spend the evening walking around the parks. But for those of you that are eating at LTT I'll bet you will LOVE it. :thumbsup2 We have really enjoyed the food there and for that type of special dining experince I'm sure it'll be awesome!!

I'm a Halloween fanatic. The first time I went to MNSSHP, we were on our honeymoon... and we just "stumbled" across it. When we got in, I actually cried. Yes, a dork I am. We had the best time.

It is a treat for the senses. You'll have a blast!

We are going on September 22. We went on Halloween our last trip which was in 2000. Main Street was completely redecorated and looked like a magical Halloween. The headless horseman who rides just before the parade was awesome. I can't wait. We bought masks from Italy at the World Showcase and framed them in a shadow box at home after.

I went for the first time last year with one of my girl friends and our dd's. We had such a good time. This year I am taking my dh and our dd. We also eat at LTT but in the 4 o'clock hour so we don't miss the party. We are going on the 15th too.

I too will be there sept 15th. we should all arrange a DISer get together and trick or treat as a group.......LOL. I still have no idea what to dress up as. Anyone have any ideas for us. Its gonna be me, my husband, my one year old son, my one year old neice, my four year old neice, my six year old nephew, my mother in law, and my best friend. Any idea's? :listen:

I am editing because a light buld just went off in my head, too bad its the size of a christmas light. Anyways I just got a better idea: how the MNSSHP goers for sept 15th meet somewhere to watch the 2nd parade together. Just an idea.

It will be our first time, too. We are going in September and having an early dinner at Tony's Town Square at 5:00.
