My tickets just came for the Halloween Party. It says 7pm. I know in Florida you can get in at 4pm using the parade ticket is it the same in DL. If not does anyone know the earliest time we can get in.
Thanks

They open DCA at 7 pm for the party. No early entrance available, and there is no extra parade ticket.

i think ive heard before if you were in dca before they shut it down and have the haloween ticket you can stay in (not sure tho)

i think at like 430 or 5 they would be shutting down for the party

They have fast passes available during that time. We went to the Halloween Party two years ago and our kids had a blast!

We were surprised at how large the crowds were. Turns out there are a lot more year round schools now and they have one or two weeks off in October.

Have a magical time!

You cannot stay in the parks even if you have tickets. Everyone MUST exit at 6pm, then stand in line to get back in at 7pm!

Andrea

Thank You Andrea. I was going to try to book a meal in the park but seeing we must exit at 6 I will try maybe a resort restaurant. Do you recommend getting in line early or just showing up at like 7 15?

We had planned on getting there early last year but it took a little longer to get into our costumes. We were at the gate at about 7:20 and walked right in...no line at all! So you can either get there early and stand in line or get there a few minutes later and walk in!

If you're like 20 min. late you're not going to miss much right ? B/C I have to do my makeup and makeup for other people.

I got our tickets in the mail today. Very exciting. Each trip we have tried to experience something "new" to us, and this will be our new thing for October.

Do most adults dress up? I'm a very large person, so limited options unfortunately. I think I may rather just be comfy and wear a Halloween T Shirt, but don't want to feel out of place.

Nope, you won't miss a thing...except 20 minutes in the park! I think we're going to do the same thing this year and miss the early crowd.

Silence...A lot of adults do dress up but you'll be fine in a Halloween t-shirt!

Silence, I'd say that there are more adults that don't dress up than those that do, so you won't be out of place at all - especially if you wear a Halloween t-shirt.

Last year they started letting people into the park before the party officially started - but we were held at Sunshine Plaza (where there was a band playing!) and not allowed to go back into the other areas until the party started. I don't know how early they let people in - we got there maybe 5 minutes before the official start.

DD bought tix for the two of us today for Oct 17. We are going right after the DisBoards Girls dinner at Cafe Orleans. We have not done this before and hear it is a lot of fun. I have to think of something to wear. Cannot wait!:thumbsup2

To people that have experienced the Halloween parties in Florida and California. How do the they compare? Are they the same? Which one is better?

I'll be there on Oct 17th also! I can't wait! October seems so far away!!!

Is there a Mickey's Halloween Party map on this board somewhere. I know that last year when we went to the one at WDW it was a lot of help for advanced planning. Does the same thing exist for DL? I am looking for last year's map/guide. Thanks! :wizard:
