Mickey's Halloween Treat?

Does anybody now approximately when the tickets might go on sale or at least the dates be announced for this year in October??? It makes it tuff to plan a holiday!!!

For Mickey's Trick or Treat Party, it went on sale for the general public in August. I think it was the 4th when they opened for the general public because that is when I bought mine and I did it the morning they opened them up, but I think that disney visa card holders were able to obtain tickets before the tickets were on sale to the general public.

I don't know about the proposed dates though. I think I heard about it in July (?). But that was only because I saw it here on the DIS.

Hmmmm, I think they are released to AP holder and Disney Visa holders 2 weeks before they are released to the general public. So I think the end of July, beginning of August for APers and Visa holders. Then later in August they start selling to the general public.

Sale to the public definitely started on August 1 last year. I hit the F5 key way too often that day.

Visa and AP holders could order earlier than that, but unfortunately I can't remember an exact date.

EDIT: I found the old topic for 2008. It seems that 2008 tickets for AP holders went on sale May 16 and info also went up on the AP site around that day. Visa card holders were also allowed to buy at that point. Here's the link: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1822785&page=2

Whoa! That early? I sure don't remember being able to buy them that early last year. And I did still have an AP then...and a Disney Visa.

I remembered the date was pretty early for my understanding, but looks like someone was looking for a headstart there.
