Hi folks

We are off to Disneyland Paris for the first time from 15th-18th October. I had a message on the answer machine today from Disney informing us that Mickey's Halloween Party would be taking place on 17th October and did we want to add it to our booking.

Been looking at the website but can't find very much information about this party - can anyone let me know what it is all about. My girls are only 3 and 4.5 so I am thinking it all might be a bit late for them if we have been in the parks all day but don't want to miss out if it would be worthwhile.

Any advice would be fantastic - thanks in advance.

We're going 28th Oct and I've booked for me and my 11 year old.

When I rang up they said it was Mickey's "not so scarey" party and that they had never held it before so had no idea what to expect.... so I booked anyway.

If I'm going I'm doing EVERYTHING!!

We are going to that one too (we being me, my husband and my parents, not a child in sight.) Like it has been said the parties have never been held before but being in the park after hours with a small crowd even with only a few rides open should be fun.

Hmmm, difficult one. As a seasoned Disney vet and a father of a 3 yo and 5 to, I would probably either:

a) not bother as my kids get really exhausted at DLP

b) go, but not go to the park the afternoon of the party or the morning after.

I think these things are great when the kids are like 7+ and can handle it, but it's tough on the little ones (mine got so grumpy this year when we tried to keep them up for the fireworks).

The main Halloween party is pretty awesome, but it is crowded. We went as an adult couple, but again the crowds are so big and it can be really cold at night, I would not personally take little ones. But every family is different.

I'm going I'm going I'm going! :hyper::hyper::hyper:

See you on the 28th.

We are going to the party on the 17th - DLP have never done these parties before so I am not sure what we are in for but they sound a lot of fun :thumbsup2

Thanks everyone for the information and advice. The link was very helpful but after some consideration we have decided to give it a miss. My girls get tired quite easily and they are sooo grumpy when tired that it is probably not worth it.

Hope all of you going have a great time and can't wait to read about it when you get back.

Thanks again for the help - much appreciated.

Hubby and I will be at the party on the 28th but we don't have any children. If it were me I would take them to the party but let them sleep in the next day.

Mel
